48 hrs on the ground in Baku - so many experiences and so many amazing people - professional and with such a big heart!

I have a lot of photos to share - here are the ones from the 4th April World TB Say international conference - led by the civil society partners - but with Participation of members of the parliament, private sector, Ministry  of Health, TB SURVIVORS, international partners. Azerbaijan has a high MDR TB burden - the overall number of people with TB is not high. On the very  positive and impressive  note - teams of Elchin and Red Crescent are having an amazing impact supporting the penitentiary system in follow up and securing treatment completion and success for all those releases from prison … super great job! And also - the amazing team is going all over Azerbaijan screening people with mobile x Ray doubled by AI. Amazing !

On thé less happy note - the civil society and communities are in big need of additional funding to contribute and expand their amazing work!

So great people I met - photos are from different moments - including with Deputy Minister of Health, Head of Mandatory  Health insurance and - the warmest and nicest meeting with an amazing TB SURVIVOR that has a very sad story that made him much stronger!

I felt like at home - I felt like in family - thank you dear friends …
