A new Executive Director has been appointed to the AYNA Women’s Socio-Economic Development Public Union.
According to QHT.az, Rena Gafarova has been appointed as Executive Director of the non-governmental organization operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the AYNA Women’s Socio-Economic Development Public Union was established in 2008, with the primary goal of supporting the socio-economic development of Azerbaijani women, particularly promoting women entrepreneurs on the international stage. The organization actively works to foster trade relations among women and to encourage business cooperation and exchange of ideas.
Under the leadership of the new Executive Director, Rena Gafarova, the AYNA Public Union aims to ensure broader representation of Azerbaijani women entrepreneurs on international platforms, especially through cooperation with women entrepreneurs’ associations in African countries. Within this framework, the implementation of joint projects, organization of business forums, and development of mutual trade relations are planned.
At the same time, the organization has identified as one of its priority areas the promotion of Azerbaijani women entrepreneurs living in different countries around the world, as well as Azerbaijani women who have achieved success in various fields, to the international community.
With its new leadership, the AYNA Women’s Socio-Economic Development Public Union plans to further expand its activities aimed at strengthening women’s economic independence, broadening international cooperation, and increasing global recognition of Azerbaijani women entrepreneurs.
It was also reported that all activities of the organization will be regularly shared with the public through its official social media accounts. The first events of the AYNA Women’s Socio-Economic Development Public Union under the new leadership are planned to take place on February 6, 2026.
